SEP public meetings in Melbourne and Sydney

The war in Afghanistan, world politics and the perspective for socialism

The Socialist Equality Party of Australia will be holding public meetings on The war in Afghanistan, world politics and the perspective for socialism in Melbourne and Sydney in the second week of May.

Nick Beams, national secretary of the SEP and member of the editorial board of the World Socialist Web Site, will review the renewed eruption of imperialist violence at the dawn of the 21st century, trace its causes in the unresolved contradictions of the 20th century and outline the necessity for the working class to adopt the perspective of socialist internationalism.
