Video: Michigan GM workers speak on bankruptcy and plant closings

 

 

Workers from Oakland County, Michigan, just north of Detroit, spoke to reporters from the WSWS about the implications of the bankruptcy of General Motors and the announced closure of their plants. Orion Assembly will close costing 2,600 jobs, and Pontiac Assembly will also close at the cost of another 2,200 UAW jobs as the corporations undergoes massive restructuring.
