Socialist Equality Party (Britain) post-election meetings

Where is Britain going?

The Socialist Equality Party (Britain) is holding meetings in the two constituencies in which it stood candidates in the May 6 General Election—Oxford East and Manchester Central.

The meetings will draw the essential lessons from a contest that ended in the formation of a Conservative-Liberal Democrat coalition that is opposed by millions of working people and is intent on imposing devastating cuts in jobs, wages and essential services. They will provide an opportunity to discuss a political perspective on which to fight these attacks, given that the Labour Party bears direct responsibility for bringing the Tories to power with the Lib Dems as their political partners-in-crime.
