SEP (UK) candidates in council elections
5 April 2012
Stephen Woodbridge is standing for the SEP in the Bretton North ward of Peterborough. A socialist his entire adult life, Stephen worked at the Perkins diesel engines plant (now a subsidiary of Caterpillar) for 35 years until 2009.
Now a part-time bus driver, he writes for the World Socialist Web Site on the impact of the capitalist crisis.
Danny Dickinson is standing for the SEP in the St Helens Town Centre ward. Also a socialist his entire adult life, he worked as a seaman, car and rail worker, and for the Pilkington group that once dominated St Helens.
Now retired, Danny is a contributor to the World Socialist Web Site and writes regularly on the struggles of workers in Britain.
