Video: Striking New York City bus workers speak on their struggle

On January 18, nearly 9,000 New York City school bus drivers, matrons and mechanics went on strike to oppose Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s drive to strip them of job and wage protections that have been in place for nearly half a century.

In this video, the workers talk to the World Socialist Web Site about their fight against the billionaire mayor, trying to make ends meet in one of the world’s most expensive cities. They make an appeal for support from the entire working class.
