Lawrence Porter, the assistant national secretary of the Socialist Equality Party (US), was interviewed on Monday afternoon for Michigan Radio’s popular “Stateside” program. Porter spoke about the activity of the SEP in the Detroit-area, the growing interest in socialism throughout the country, and the fight for an independent political party of the working class.
