Video: Detroit autoworkers speak on Fiat Chrysler layoffs

This week, Fiat Chrysler announced that 1,420 workers at the Sterling Heights assembly and stamping plants in suburban Detroit will be permanently laid off effective July 5. The layoffs come just months after Fiat Chrysler workers overwhelmingly voted down a sellout contract, which was ultimately pushed through by the United Auto Workers.

Yesterday, WSWS reporters spoke to workers at nearby Warren Stamping plant about the layoffs.
