Worldwide vigils and rallies tomorrow to defend Julian Assange

On Tuesday, supporters of WikiLeaks will hold demonstrations in Australia, Britain, the United States, Sri Lanka, and India to demand the freedom of journalist Julian Assange, who has been effectively imprisoned in the Ecuadorian embassy in London for six years.

SEP (UK) Assistant National Secretary Julie Hyland will speak in London, UK and SEP National Secretary James Cogan will speak in Melbourne, Australia. The World Socialist Web Site urges its readers to attend a vigil near them and to join the campaign for Assange’s freedom!
