نه به جنگ علیه سوریه !

۱.حزب برابری سوسیالیستی و کمیته بین المللی انترناسیونال چهارم ، همه کارگران و جوانان در ایالات متحده، اروپا و سراسر جهان را فرا میخواند که قدرت جمعی خود را علیه برنامه های دولت اوباما و متحدان ، برای یک حمله نظامی علیه سوریه، بسیج کنند. بیانیه رئیس جمهور اوباما در روز شنبه مبنی بر اینکه، او میخواهد تصویب کنگره برای بمباران سوریه را به دست آورد ، تنها به معنای آن است که حمله به تعویق افتاده است ولی لغو نشده است. رای گیری در کنگره ، مانور سیاسی مضحکی بیش نیست. هدف این مانور سیاسی ، مشروعیت بخشیدن به یک جنگ مبتنی بر دروغ میباشد. پس از رد شدن ویرانگر قطعنامه جنگ در مجلس بریتانیا، دولت اوباما به شدت در تلاش برای به دست آوردن یک پوشش سیاسی برای یک جنگ غیر قانونی است، جنگی که توسط اکثریت قریب به اتفاق مردم آمریکا رد میشود. اوباما به درستی انتظار دارد که کنگره با حمله به سوریه موافقت کند. علاوه بر این، مانور بحث در کنگره به اوباما اجازه خواهد داد که تصمیم گیری برای جنگ را، یک تصمیم دموکراتیک که نشان دهنده "اراده مردم" است، نمایش دهد. از این استدلال برای توجیه سرکوب فزاینده مخالفان جنگ استفاده خواهد شد.
