Danny Dickinson is standing for the SEP in the St Helens Town Centre ward. Also a socialist his entire adult life, he worked as a seaman, car and rail worker, and for the Pilkington group that once dominated St Helens.

Now retired, Danny is a contributor to the World Socialist Web Site and writes regularly on the struggles of workers in Britain.
