Photo Essay: The social cost of the Camp Fire

On Saturday, November 17, World Socialist Web Site reporters visited a tent camp set up outside of a Walmart near Chico, California, as well as parts of Paradise, California, which was destroyed by the Camp Fire. As of Monday evening, the official death count stood at 77, but nearly 1,000 are still missing. Residents we spoke with expect  the death toll to be far higher.
