Letters to the WSWS

The following is a selection of recent letters to the World Socialist Web Site.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for reporting what you report. Not only do the facts and references that you use make everything you write believable, but your lack of invectives make the information hard to ignore. I constantly send your articles to friends, family, and even members of the government. I’m hoping to go back to college soon and

what you do makes me want to commit myself to journalism. Keep up the incredibly informative work! You bring hope to the world in the form of reason.

Have recently been referred to your web site and want to let you know how much I appreciate your articles. We don’t have access to the truth about our “elected”

government leaders very much any more but having to dig out the truth is actually a good thing. For me, at least, I’m taking a more active role in local politics and have joined a group of peacemakers here in Michigan.

I’ve been printing out many articles and make copies for friends and relatives so your good word is making a difference.

Thank you!

Dear Editor,

Thank you for retaining focus on the unspeakable horror which befell the 353 souls in the Sunda Strait. The actions of the Australian government amount to sheer criminality. This was a massacre. Howard’s hands are steeped in the blood of the men, women and children who perished at sea.

Yours

Why doesn’t this stuff ever make the front page?

I lost a gob of money on Enron and I’m very unhappy with Bush et al.

My god you would think the man had a mandate the way things are going.

Thank you for critiquing the Bush administration’s cynical breaching of the Posse Comitatus Law in the wake of the Maryland-Virginia sniper-spree murderer.

Dear WSWS,

Your insight and analysis of our troubled times is uncanny; there’s nowhere else to go for genuine news. About the sniper...possibly a deliberate operation by someone in the military (or ex-military sharpshooter) in order to give Bush the pretext to deploy troops?

Thanks again!
