The Socialist Equality Party will be holding a final public meeting for its Broadmeadows by-election campaign on Sunday February 13 at 2:30 pm.

The SEP’s candidate Peter Byrne will elaborate the socialist perspective needed by the working class to oppose war and militarism and to defend its own independent interests for decent jobs, wages, education and health care against the agenda of the Gillard Labor government and the entire political establishment.

World Socialist Web Site correspondents Patrick O’Connor and Jean Shaoul will review the immense implications for the international working class of the revolutionary events now unfolding in Tunisia and Egypt.

We invite all WSWS readers and supporters of the SEP in Victoria to attend the meeting and take part in the discussion on these vital issues.
