At noon yesterday, a press conference was held in front of the General Motors world headquarters--the badly named Renaissance Center--in downtown Detroit, to promote the upcoming March to Fight GM Plant Closures on February 9. World Socialist Web Site Labor Editor Jerry White spoke and answered questions from local news reporters.

Although video reporting crews from several local news stations attended the press conference, so far none have published anything about it.
