The challenges that confront the World Socialist Web Site and its staff are greater than ever. We are in the midst of a rapidly developing economic, political, social and environmental crisis that threatens the survival of humanity.

The WSWS is the sole source of a Marxist analysis of daily events. It is providing unequaled coverage of the pandemic, the US-NATO proxy war against Russia, and the expanding international class struggle.

But the WSWS is not only analyzing and commenting on developments. The aim of Marxism is not only to interpret the world but to change it.

The news and analysis provided by the WSWS is directed toward the development of an international movement of the working class against capitalism, the economic system responsible for political oppression, war, exploitation and inequality, environmental catastrophes, and cultural degradation.

The readership and influence of the World Socialist Web Site is growing as the class struggle intensifies. It is playing a central role in the US auto workers’ strike.
