Video on the anniversary of the Dexter Avenue fire

Charlotte Nash, sister of Marvin and Tyrone Allen, who were killed in the horrific fire in their Detroit home on Dexter Avenue, is interviewed by the WSWS one year after the fire. She speaks on the callousness of energy company, DTE and the many deaths directly caused by utility shutoffs that have occurred after the deaths of her brothers and that are likely to continue in the future.

Lawrence Porter, of the Committee Against Utility Shutoffs, conducts the interview.

Ms. Nash is now a member of CAUS (Committee Against Utility Shutoffs) and supports its campaign to expose DTE and end utility shutoffs.
