Video: Hastings residents condemn Australian steel job cuts

Residents of the Victorian town of Hastings, about 70 kilometres southeast of Melbourne, the state capital, spoke with World Socialist Web Site reporters last week about the impact of BlueScope Steel’s recent decision to cut over 200 jobs at the local hot strip mill, as well as more than 1,100 jobs at its steel plant in Wollongong.
