In the first stop of the Socialist Equality Party’s 2016 US presidential campaign, candidate Jerry White visited the picket lines in New York City, where thousands of Verizon communications workers are striking to oppose intolerable working conditions, stagnating wages, and attacks on pensions.

Workers spoke out against social inequality and discussed the fact that they and their class brothers and sisters all over the world face similar conditions.
