In this video statement, released on Monday morning, Cheryl Crisp, the assistant national-secretary of the Socialist Equality Party (Australia), calls for workers and young people to come to the defence of Julian Assange. She condemns the reported plans to evict him from Ecuador’s London embassy and indicts the Australian government and all of the major parties for their role in the persecution of the WikiLeaks founder.
